Deacon Jeremy Morse

Fr Jeremy serves as Deacon at Holy Annunciation Orthodox Church.

Born and raised in regional Queensland to pious Brethren parents, Fr Jeremy grew to see the faultlines endemic to Evangelical Protestantism. Seeking a Christian faith of asceticism and beauty, he found the early Church to answer the yearning of his heart, and he converted to the Orthodox Church at our parish.

In 2026, Fr Jeremy was ordained to the diaconate for service at our parish.  Alongside his wife, he continues to serve as the coordinator for our Ipswich & Lockyer Valley Orthodox Outreach.
