Attending Services at Holy Annunciation Orthodox Church

Please note: due to renovations at our church building, services after 1 May 2023 will be at either St Paul's Antiochian Orthodox Church on Junction St, or, at the QRCC Hall on Lotus St.  Both venues are in Woolloongabba.  Both venues have ample parking and bathroom facilities.  Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to welcoming you in these venues!

Our Current Schedule of Services:

PLEASE NOTE: Bible Study on Wednesday 31 May will be held entirely on Zoom. For the Zoom link see: HolyAnnunciation.net/BibleStudy

For those unable to attend in person:

Due to renovations at our church, we are no longer able to livestream our services.  We apologise for this change.

However, we have collated our livestreams from previous years - please see our livestreaming page for more information.

Additionally, there are a number of Orthodox churches in Australia that live stream services.  Some of these include:

  • Good Shepherd Orthodox Mission (Melbourne - Antiochian Archdiocese).  English-language.  Sunday, 10am (AEDT), on YouTube (link).
  • St Nicholas Cathedral (ROCOR, Brisbane).  Slavonic-language services.  Saturday, 5pm, & Sunday, 8:30am (AEST), on YouTube (link).
  • Holy Protection Orthodox Cathedral (ROCOR, Melbourne).  Slavonic & English languages.  Saturday, 6pm, & Sunday, 9am (AEDT), on YouTube (link).
  • Many, many other Orthodox churches around the country on https://orthodoxonline.net.au/, and overseas on http://liveliturgy.com/

Another option for those unable to attend in person is to pray the Readers Services in their home. The Typika service is prayed if one is not able to attend a Divine Liturgy.

Lastly, Fr Andrew is available for pastoral support. Please clickthrough to Fr Andrew's page for more information.
