- The Orthodox Faith, by Fr Thomas Hopko (Dean of St Vladimir's Seminary, 1992-2002). This is a series of four books on: Doctrine & Scripture, on Worship, on Church History and on Spirituality. These books aim to give an accurate description of the life of the Orthodox Church as it is believed and practiced today. These books can be read for free online.
- These Things We Hold, by A Monk of St Tikhon's Monastery in Pennsylvania, which contains a number of articles on Church History, Feasts of the Church, Dogma and Doctrine, Icons, Monasticism, Prayer, Scripture, Symbolism, Worship, the Church Building and its Servers, and Sacraments. This can be read for free online.

Calendar:
Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church in Baltimore produces a free Orthodox calendar.
This calendar has some of the saints of the days, the Scripture reading for the day, the Troparia and Kontakia, the fasting days, with information on what foods are permitted on the days. It is available through their website and also via the Google Play Store and through the Apple App Store.
